After a successful pilot, Roosen from Eersel launched smart.box.

Short lead times is our philosophy, in both order flow and implementation.

That has been fully successful!

Roosen Mechatronica assembles finished products or sub-assemblies (possibly in clean room). This can be by means of mechanical assembly and/or electrical assembly, where pneumatic assembly is also a possibility. After assembly follows extensive functional testing and packaging.

Summarizing how smart.box is used on the shop floor at Roosen:

From planning, orders are displayed at the workstation.
Thanks to the link with the ERP system RidderIQ, all order information is available.
The appropriate drawings can be called up directly from the touch screen screens.
Of course, each employee can indicate whether or not they can work on the order.
If an order standstill is chosen, the correct help can be requested via a simple button.
Ready reporting of order via smart.box = automatic ready reporting in RidderIQ.
Through the monitor, everyone can track whether all orders “flow” through the organization and make adjustments as needed.

The cooperation with Roosen is really fantastic! With a flying start, we had the technology & links working in no time. This is partly because the right employees were immediately involved in the change process.
