After a successful pilot, Roosen from Eersel launched smart.box.
Short lead times is our philosophy, in both order flow and implementation.
That has been fully successful!
Roosen Mechatronica assembles finished products or sub-assemblies (possibly in clean room). This can be by means of mechanical assembly and/or electrical assembly, where pneumatic assembly is also a possibility. After assembly follows extensive functional testing and packaging.
Summarizing how smart.box is used on the shop floor at Roosen:
The cooperation with Roosen is really fantastic! With a flying start, we had the technology & links working in no time. This is partly because the right employees were immediately involved in the change process.
The request is simple: work smarter on the shop floor, including an interaction with the ERP system Microsoft Business Central.
In many organizations, scheduling people and resources remains a time-consuming and complex task.
With our smart planning solution, those days are over. 💡
One (moving) picture speaks more than 1000 words. That’s why we’ve created an introductory video that explains the essence of smart.box and its many possibilities.
Finally, the renewed smart.box website is officially live! With a fresh, modern look and improved navigation, visitors can find the right information faster.
For end-customers it is fantastic that the BOZ Group (www.bozgroup.eu) offers endless possibilities in metalworking. But this diversity also creates a huge puzzle for planning and realisation. Variable quantities, complexity and processing steps and that for 2500 production orders in circulation. Then monitoring and, where necessary, adjustment is quite a job. In addition, moving one order can have a major impact on the productivity of one or more processes, which means that the capacity of people and machines is not optimally used.
